A chara, – Brian Cullen (April 13th) continues the worthy discussion of rhetorical questions in the letters page. However, I notice that he terminates his own one with a question mark. I was taught by the Christian Brothers, admittedly in the previous century, that rhetorical questions required no such punctuation. One wonders whose teachers were correct. – Is mise,
