Sir, – I would like to congratulate Fintan McCutcheon, principal of Balbriggan Educate Together, on his challenge to match Nord Anglia (September 25th).
The main advantage his school, and the majority of our schools, offer their students is open access to all, and a chance to socialise and learn with a cross-section of society.
Surely this is a better preparation for life for the next generation, than hot-housing them in an exclusive, unreal world of privilege? – Yours, etc,
