Sir, – I read online Michael McDowell's article "Can someone please tell me what the Covid plan is?" ( Opinion & Analysis, March 24th) before I had opened my paper copy of The Irish Times. The online version provided links to other offerings from Mr McDowell. One of them ("Six months wasted since last Covid lockdown") struck me as being topical and I was surprised that I could not recall having read it recently. Closer examination told me that it dated from October 14th last year
