Sir, – Cliff Taylor claims that Scotland calls injections "jags", whereas we in Ireland call them "jabs" ("Ireland can – and must – get all adults vaccinated by September", Opinion & Analysis, February 13th). Here in Donegal, a jab is a punch thrown by a boxer, and a jag is an injection. I'm not an expert, even though my initials might suggest otherwise. – Yours, etc,
JAMES A GALLAGHER,
Letterkenny,
Co Donegal.
