A chara, – I heard the Taoiseach talking about the importance of dialogue and understanding the viewpoints of others on RTÉ’s Claire Byrne Live, within the context of discussions of a border poll and referencing the Belfast Agreement.

When forming a Government, he refused to negotiate with Sinn Féin, despite the fact that huge numbers of young people had voted for it.

Is he only interested in other viewpoints in other jurisdictions when deciding on powersharing arrangements for those jurisdictions? Is he not interested in the other viewpoint in his own jurisdiction? – Is mise,
