Broadband’s narrow reach

Sir, – Further to Brian Cullen's letter (July 8th), in my house, my guests and I can enter as many internet passwords as we like, but it still doesn't result in us being able to connect to the web in any useful manner or form.

All three of my adult children need to use the internet in their daily work. Is it any wonder that two of them usually choose to live abroad in order to earn their living? The other had to move “closer to the exchange”. My home is 25km from the centre of Dublin. – Yours, etc,
