It’s the time of year when Samsung unleashes a slew of new products on the public, from the attention-grabbing foldable phones to the latest tablets. But in all the fuss over the new Fold and Flip, you might have missed the Galaxy Watch6, the company’s latest wearable.

Samsung has added some new features, including a larger, more vibrant display, in-depth sleep analysis, personalised heart rate zones, run tracking and custom workouts.

Fall Detection can detect any stumbles during exercise, standing or sleeping, and automatically alert an emergency number.

Samsung has also slimmed down the bezels, and increased the battery size. And the Gesture Control allows users to set their own shortcuts, and access apps and functions touch-free, including WhatsApp and upcoming compatibility with apps for Google Calendar and Gmail.

The Watch6, available in 40mm and 44mm versions, offers both Bluetooth and LTE models – which you can use with Vodafone’s OneNumber, for example – in a range of finishes.
