In a week when rents for new student developments were described as “extortionate” and as fears grow that many students from outside the capital are being priced out of going to college, The Irish Times is looking to hear from readers about their individual experiences of the accommodation crisis.

Share your experiences with us, for a special upcoming report on the student accommodation crisis. Please keep the text under 1,000 words, and send us a photograph if you have one. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate this in your submission – we will keep your name and contact details confidential.

Please note we may not publish every story we receive, or be able to reply to every submission. All authors whose stories are selected for publication will be contacted in advance.
