They've yet to play a team from the top five of the EY Hockey League so Hermes' perfect start to the competition should receive its sternest test tomorrow when they take on Railway Union at Park Avenue.
Railway had also won their opening three games until being held by Ards to a 1-1 draw last weekend.
Ulster Elks, too, had their winning streak halted in round four, UCD coming back to take a point at Belfield, so Elks will also be looking to return to winning ways when they take on sixth-placed Ards at home.
After a mixed start to the competition, losing two of their opening four games, UCD could do with a win tomorrow.
But their task won’t be an easy task as their opponents at Serpentine Avenue are fourth-placed Pembroke Wanderers who are two points clear of them.
Cork Harlequins and UCC meet in an all-Munster affair at Farmers Cross, the hosts, tied for fourth place with Pembroke, with a three point advantage over the students.
And Pegasus will be hopeful of finally getting off the winning mark when they take on bottom club Greenfields in Belfast.
