Bohemians v Finn Harps

With seven points from their last three games and Glen Crowe unable to stop scoring goals, Bohemians are starting to build up a bit of momentum in the league which is what Harps could have done without.

For Roddy Collins, who has admitted that there was never much to all of those rumours linking him with an application for the Oxford job, things are good with Dave Hill back from suspension, Stephen Caffrey recovered from a slight knock and only Rob Bowman considered doubtful due to a calf strain.

Harps, meanwhile, have much more serious problems - even aside from their well publicised financial crisis. Gavin Dykes has had to release two players and put his own boots back on. The Harps boss will probably also have to cope without Fergal Harkin (ankle) and Kemo Adviu (knee) while playing Jonathan Minnock, he says, would be a gamble that he is reluctant to take.

Last season: Harps 0 Bohemians 1, Bohemians 1 Harps 0, Harps 0 Bohemians 0.

Recent league form: Bohemians: L L W W D; Harps: L D L L W.

Leading scorers: Bohemians: Crowe (12); Harps: Nesovic (five).

Betting: Home: 2/7, Draw: 7/2, Away: 7/1.

St Patrick's Athletic v Kilkenny City

Things have improved a good deal in recent weeks for the Dubliners with a much improved return of seven points from their last three games and hauling the club away from the bottom of the table.

Having beaten Rovers away and drawn at Bohemians, a home game against a struggling Kilkenny side looks, on the face of it, to be a somewhat less daunting prospect but then it's only a month or so since Pat Dolan's side were struggling to produce any sort of form so nobody will be taking anything for granted.

This evening Dolan could be without Liam Kelly and Ger McCarthy both of whom picked up knocks at Dalymount while Paul Byrne has not trained this week due to a hamstring strain.

City manager Joe McGrath expects to start with his new American goalkeeper Matthew Nelson while newly signed midfielder Barry Burke (from Shelbourne) may also figure.

Last season: Did not meet.

Recent league form: St Patrick's: D L W W D; City: D D D L L.

Leading scorers: St Patrick's: Byrne and Kelly (three each); City: Byrne, Murray, Mulcahy and Kabia (one each).

Betting: Home: 1/3, Draw: 3/1, Away: 7/1.

Referee: J Stacey (Athlone).
