Roscommon and Cavan to meet again after qualifier draw

Wexford will meet Cork in the hurling, as Offaly and Clare do battle

The Round 2A Football Championship Draw and Round 1 Hurling Championship draw took place on Monday morning, throwing up some interesting fixtures.

Roscommon will look to bounce back from their shock Connacht semi-final defeat against Sligo as they renew rivalries with Cavan. The two met twice in the 2014 league, including the Division Three final, as well as in last year’s championship and this year’s league.

Roscommon have two wins, Cavan have one, and this year’s meeting in Division Two ended in a draw.

Antrim will get a chance at revenge as they meet Fermanagh, the team who knocked them out of the Ulster championship.

Offaly will play the loser from the Kildare and Dublin Leinster semi-final and Longford meet Clare.

In the hurling Wexford have been hit with a hangover blow following Sunday's 24 point loss to Kilkenny, as they've been paired against Cork.

Clare will look to regroup with a well-needed win against Offaly as Laois meet Dublin and Limerick have been drawn to play Westmeath.

Confirmation of home venues, times and all dates for the fixtures will be confirmed following a meeting of the CCCC on Monday afternoon.
