Hawk-Eye will not be used in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling semi-final after it failed to register a point in the earlier Minor semi-final.
In the first minute of the game between Limerick and Galway, a shot from Limerick centre forward Barry Nash was referred by referee Fergal Hogan.
Although the technology showed the ball clearly going over the bar, the resulting graphic displayed a ‘Miss’ and the game remained scoreless.
The game went on to be a draw after 60 minutes, 0-16 to 0-16, with Galway going on to win 0-23 to 0-20.
The decision was then taken by GAA officials to stand down the technology for the meeting of the two Munster rivals.
