Navan Preview:The Champion Hurdle outsider Sublimity looks to have an ideal opportunity at Navan today to successfully return from a long absence and renew some Cheltenham festival dreams for trainer John Carr.

The 2006 festival yielded only frustration for Carr after Sublimity endured a nightmare passage in the Supreme Novices Hurdle and yet still managed to finish fourth.

There was enough in that for some firms to offer some fancy odds for the Champion, and, while that may be flying high, today's conditions hurdle should be little more than a hack round for a horse good enough to win two Listed races on the flat.

Washington Lad was a Grade Three winner over Asian Maze earlier in his career and gets his chasing career off and running in the two mile Beginners Chase.
