Longford Town v Bohemians: Rumours are rife about players being lined up to join Bohemians by would-be managers of the Dalymount club, but joint caretaker manager Alan Caffrey could do with a few new bodies ahead of this evening's kick-off.

Stephen O'Brien, Barry Ferguson, Stephen Caffrey, Mark Leech, Fergal Harkin and Stephen Ward join long-term absentees Vinny Arkins and Aidan Collins on the injury list, though Thomas Heary and Aidan O'Keefe return to the side.

Caffrey's preparations have been overshadowed by the controversy regarding the game against Shelbourne, as well as renewed speculation over who might take on the manager's job, with Seán Connor now the most likely candidate after his resignation from Sligo Rovers. For the moment at least, Caffrey and co have to get on with things.

"Look, we just laugh and get on with it," he says. "First Pat Fenlon was a certainty for the job, then Alan Matthews was, and if I'd backed the pair of them I'd have lost a lot of money, so we'll just wait and see what happens."
