Engineers Ireland awards: creativity and innovative solutions

Introducing the shortlisted entries for the 2016 awards, Engineers Ireland chief executive Caroline Spillane said: “Engineers solve all sorts of problems, and one of their most important tools is their own creativity. They are responsible for so many innovative design-led solutions that impact positively on our society. I think it is fair to say that we are all so very proud of these innovative projects and the creativity and sheer hard work that has gone into them.”
