Sir, – I suggest that Minister for Sport Shane Ross and his colleagues follow the same doctrine they are using with the FAI to impress upon all members of the Oireachtas how not to spend public funds, eg printing calendars at public expense (Home News, December 20th), while doctors and nurses at the Rotunda Hospital have had to set up a fundraising page to fund an ultrasound machine needed to treat sick and premature babies (Home News, December 20th). – Yours, etc,
