Sir, – We learned a lot from Storm Emma. We’ve had a lot of snow again over the last few days here in Wicklow. No run on the bread, milk or wine this time. No word from the Taoiseach this time. He’s resting after his US trip. That’s fine. We don’t need his advice anymore.
We know what to do: be home by 4pm at the latest on snow days!
Now that we are getting better at this snow thing and starting to enjoy it, I wonder could we be moved up in the charts of the “happiest country in the world to live in”and find out how the Finnish people are doing it?
Snow obviously has a lot to do with it! – Yours, etc,
