SF missing opportunity to set agenda

A chara, – I couldn't agree more with the thrust of Seán Donlon's article ("SF missing once in lifetime opportunity to set agenda", Opinion, August 1st).

With the DUP sitting at the banquet table daily and influencing the choices on the menu, Gerry Adams and Mary Lou McDonald are still outside looking in. I believe that a huge number of Sinn Féin supporters in the North would support their MPs attending at Westminster and playing an active role.

They are not short of contributions in Dáil Éireann, so why not bring that same enthusiasm to bear in London?

The non-supporters of Sinn Féin here in the South would appreciate their contributions to the Brexit debate in that forum. They should brave and engage! – Is mise,
