Sir, – A man says he is interested in becoming our president. Then he declares he is pulling out. This was the top story on RTÉ radio news bulletins. I kid you not.

Your website also reports the story and tells us that the same man, who is an artist and musician, has a forthcoming exhibition and is planning to release a single. I suppose I needed to know that too.

Meanwhile in the real world lots of important stuff happens without press releases.
