Sir, – Tony Corcoran (Letters, February 4th) asks who is the patron saint of emails? Why, St Francis of a CC of course! – Yours, etc,
JOHN COTTER,
Ferrybank,
Waterford.
A chara, – St Google would be my guess. – Yours, etc,
PETER DECLAN
O’HALLORAN,
Belturbet,
Co Cavan.
Sir, – I would nominate St Paul. He wrote many epistles to the Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Corinthians, and others. They were surely longer than most of today’s emails, and I suspect that some were regarded as spam, depending on the mood of the recipients. – Yours, etc,
SEAN O’BYRNE,
Sallins,
Co Kildare.
