Sir, – Would someone in The Irish Times be a good fellow and pop down to the algorithm shop to buy one that will notice when an online reader kills those inane pop-up windows suggesting he or she will find this-or-that article interesting?
It is most insulting to your excellent journalists to suggest that we would abandon them in mid-column to watch 1.09 minutes of Donald Trump’s hair dancing the can-can with his bald pate – an invitation I have just batted away, along with two dozen others. – Yours, etc,
