Sir, – My local big-brand supermarket had honey for sale this week with a label stating: “We partner our own hives of honey bees with international apiary families to carefully blend selected honey from around the world.”
Now you’d be forgiven for thinking there was a drop of Irish honey somewhere in the jar. Not a bit of it.
Unless, of course, one of the Cork bees made it to Hungary.
