Boris Johnson’s party problem

Sir, – The latest revelations about the Downing Street culture, where members of staff felt it appropriate to “party” on the eve of Prince Phillip’s funeral, says much for the respect shown by this so-called administration toward the sovereign they so apparently admire.

Even the rioters on the Shankill Road had the decency to call off their “protests” out of respect for the late prince.

Is this a reflection as to how low that country has fallen in just a few short years under Boris Johnson? In any organisation, the tone is almost always set by the leader. Therein appears to be the problem. Surely it’s now time for change? – Yours, etc,
