A chara, – Further to "Schools 'in the dark' on whether new public holiday will shorten school year" (News, February 11th), only the Department of Education would see nothing wrong in: (a) hesitation before subtracting one from 183, a primary school-level problem; (b) reluctance at confirming when the answer to this sum will be available; (c) pausing before giving teachers a public holiday.
