Sir, – I am the proud owner of a 1988 Ferrari-red 2CV. I am delighted to read in the Irish Times that Citroën is planning to start rebuilding this iconic French car for delivery in 2028 (“Citroën’s relaunch of a classic could be just what the electric car market needs,” Technology, October 15th).
The original car was last produced in 1990 with a 602cc capacity engine and I have always felt that it was the last 2cc that got me up the hill. – Yours, etc,
