Sir, – The annual women’s Mini-Marathon took place on Sunday. The weather gods were on our sides. It was a fun, joyful, peaceful day. Thank you to all those involved in the organising of this event.
The sight of young men and young children standing on the pavements holding bouquets of flowers was heart warming. One of the best banners being held aloft by a child read “Hurry up, Mum – who is going to cook the dinner?”
