Sir, – I’m horrified by Ben Murphy’s call for Irish drivers to be educated that the left lane is the default one (Letters, March 23rd).
At present it’s my personal bus lane. Mostly completely free, as for some bizarre reason Irish drivers will only drive in the middle and outside lane. It’s actually like you’re in the overtaking lane on the Continent as you drive unimpeded past most of the other traffic. – Yours, etc,
