TEEU votes to reject Croke Park II proposals

Members vote by two to one majority against agreement

Members of the Technical, Electrical & Engineering Union have voted to reject the proposed Croke Park agreement.

They voted by a majority of 65.6 per cent to 34.4 per cent against the deal.

The TEEU is the third trade union to reject the Government’s proposals after the TUI and the Medical Laboratory Scientists Association.

The public services committee of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions is due to consider ratification of the Croke Park II proposals at a meeting next Wednesday.
