Motorcyclist killed in Meath road collision

Gardaí investigate crash on Millbrook Road, Oldcastle

A male motorcyclist has been killed in a road collision in Co Meath.

The victim in his early 50s was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car on Millbrook Road, Oldcastle at 5.10pm this evening.

The female driver of the car was uninjured.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body had been taken to Our Lady’s Hospital Navan where a post-mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow.

The road at the scene is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
