It may not be the heat we experienced over the summer, but the sun is set to return, at least for a few days. Over the weekend and into next week, temperatures across the country may reach the low 20s.
Scattered outbreaks of rain will die out this afternoon, but will generally be present until Thursday, when the good weather should return, according to Met Éireann. Although the temperature will be average enough, people may remember 2013 for its sunny weather, according to Met Éireann meteorologist Evelyn Cusack.
“Since we have six poor summers in a row, we’ll remember 2013 for its sunny summer. Today alone, temperatures ranged from 9 to 18 degrees,” she said.
Wednesday’s weather will be generally dry in the early hours, but wet and windy weather will arrive from the west later in the day.
