Dance music dominates Oxegen line-up

Dance music dominates this year's Oxegen line-up which returns to Punchestown, Co Kildare this August Bank Holiday weekend.

French DJ David Guetta is headlining this year's Oxegen festival along with Calvin Harris, Example and Snoop Dogg.

Guetta has sold more than six million albums and 15 million singles worldwide.

Guetta will be joined by Scottish DJ Calvin Harris who has just broken the record for most top 10 singles from one album. His current LP 18 Months has achieved eight top 10 hits.

Other names on the bill include UK rapper Example, dubstep duo Chase and Status, hip hop legend Snoop Dogg, Labrinth, Rita Ora, Alesso, Pitbull, DJ Fresh, Soulwax, Nero, Rizzle Kicks, Nicky Romero, Sasha, Wretch 32 and Devlin.

The acts will perform across three stages including the Heineken Live Project stage and the Red Bull Electric Ballroom.

Early-bird tickets will go on sale for just 24 hours between 8am on Friday, April 26th and 8am Saturday, April 27th. Early-bird ticket prices for a three-day weekend camping ticket cost €149.50 and a two-day non-camping costs €129.50. Entry to the festival is strictly over 18s with Garda ID or passport required.
