Two men have been charged with false imprisonment and other offences by the Police Service of Northern Ireland after an incident in Co Derry.
The men, aged 23 and 25, were also charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and theft. They were due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates court on Saturday.
The charges follow an incident at a property in the Coleraine Road area of Portstewart during the early hours of Thursday.
A man (21) was held against his will for a number of hours and assaulted sustaining injuries including bruising and burn marks to his body during the incident, the PSNI said.

“As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS,” the PSNI said.
