Three men have been arrested in Co Louth as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.
The men, who range in age from early 20s to mid 50s, were arrested in the Carrickarnon area of Dundalk yesterday evening.
Gardaí said the men were detained as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity. The development follows cross border cooperation between gardaí and the PSNI.
The men are being held at Dundalk Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act 1939.
