British pharmaceutical company, Bioglan Pharma, which runs offices in Dublin and Clonmel, has sold its UK-based telesales business GenPlus Ltd.

Genplus is the first of Bioglan's non-core business activities to be sold following a decision by the company to focus on its core areas of dermatology and the development of its Biosphere drug delivery system.

It has been purchased by Ethercorp for a sum described as "nominal".

Ethercorp will now assume responsibility for PenPlus’ capital arrangements including paying off the associated overdraft.
