Now that we know Biddy White Lennon isn't nearly as intimidating as Mary Berry, that Anna Nolan is just as supportive as Mel and Sue, and the Pauls – Kelly and Hollywood, are both tough but fair, we can expect bumper entries for the second series of The Great Irish Bake Off on TV3. Filming will begin in April, and candidates must be available for the whole month. If you're confident that your sponges always soar and your biscuits never break, you can apply online at tv3.ie/bakeoff. Show-offs can opt to include a live 60-second video audition. Entries close on January 17th.
