The work of four of Ireland's Nobel Laureates comes to the Samuel Beckett Theatre in Trinity College next week. Everlasting Voices/ Guthanna Síoraí combines the poetry of WB Yeats, Samuel Beckett and Seamus Heaney, and aphorisms from GB Shaw, along with Irish translations of some of their work by poet Gabriel Rosenstock.
Everlasting Voices uses readings by actors Cathal Quinn and Clodagh Smith, music and song by Enda Reilly, and Megan Kennedy's contemporary dance to bring audiences "on a journey from cradle to grave".The show sold out at the National Concert Hall in July, and moves to Belfast next month. It is suitable for all ages and there are two shows daily, at 1.10pm and 4pm, from August 12th to 16th. Tickets: tcd.ie/beckett-theatre or tel: 01-896 2461.
