This Sunday sees the Other Voices television series return to our screens, with highlights from the stellar lineup of acts who performed in the tiny St James's Church in Dingle, Co Kerry in November, and in the Glassworks venue in February. For a reminder of what makes the event in Kerry so special you can read this article, and to get a round-up of what went down in Derry, here is Una Mullally's review.
Ahead of Sunday night's broadcast at 10.30pm on RTE Two, here are two videos to give you a flavour of what makes the event so special. Hozier performs From Eden in episode one, and The Gloaming perform Hunting the Squirrel from their sublime debut album in an Other Voices exclusive for The Irish Times .
Along with both acts, East India Youth, Rosie Carney and Slow Skies will also feature in the first episode in the series.
Later on, keep an eye out for performances by David Gray, Patty Griffin, George Ezra, Agnes Obel, Josef Salvat, John Grant, Ásgeir, Mogwai, Lulu James and Willis Earl Beal later in the series.
