They have a confirmed fan in Stephen Fry, have worked with Norman Cook and enlisted jazz-pop pianist Jamie Cullum to co-write on this, their second album: it's safe to say that Rizzle Kicks are not your normal hip-hop group. The young Brighton duo clearly put thought into their lyrics, with songs such as Jive and Lost Generation taking potshots at Jeremy Kyle and John Terry while simultaneously denouncing the culture of the hashtag. The music is accessible, too, as heard on the brass-infused Wind Up and the Cook-produced, finger-clicking soul pop of Put Your Twos Up. They even get away with sampling EMF's Unbelievable – a song released before they were born – on Skip to the Good Bit . It's a little homogenous at points, but this is a nifty collection of mainstream hip-hop tunes. rizzlekicks.com
