The first track on this month's Newfound Sounds keeps that summer feeling flowing. It's from Limerick musician Maighréad, who is based in London. Sooner is a slice of disco-inflected electro and will be released through Meon Records on July 31. Maighréad is currently recording the follow-up track in Cologne and play live shows in the autumn. maighread.com

Tony Fitz is known from the band Susie Soho, but since the release of their last EP he has been concentrating on his solo work. Cut Me Up is his first single and features Ciaran Brady from Heritage Centre on drums, along with Jason Maher and Niall Campion on bass and guitar. tonyfitz.com
