Artist: Matthew Bourne
Genre: Electronic
Label: Leaf

Pianist Matthew Bourne was part of the Radioland ensemble who re-evaluated and reworked Kraftwerk's Radio-Activity album last year.

His latest project is also one with a retrospective bent, this time to remind people of the virtues and charms of Bob Moog’s vintage Memorymoog synthesiser.

After converting, modifying and rebuilding one of the synths to meet his needs, Bourne has produced an album which mines the synth’s own potential as a powerful instrument for all it has.

Bourne is a canny improviser and he brings this experience to bear when he uses the Moog to punctuate and underline some colourful passages.
