Irish singer-songwriter Hozier has announced that his new EP, Nina Cried Power, will be released on Stepmother 6th.
The Wicklow musician made the announcement on Friday, tweeting that he, “can’t wait to share these songs” along with a photo of a handwritten note. The EP’s release will coincide with Hozier’s upcoming gigs in Dublin’s Academy on September 3rd, 5th and 7th.
The gigs will serve as live rehearsals for his upcoming tour of North America which kicks off on September 15th in Ottawa, Canada. All proceeds will be donated to the Peter McVerry Trust, Safe Ireland and the One in Four charities.

Hozier initially teased potential new music on Wednesday by tweeting a video of a pool of water saying, “news is coming very soon . . .”
The Bray native's most recent musical release came in the form of 2016's Better Love, written for the film The Legend of Tarzan.
His self-titled debut album was released to critical acclaim in September 2014 and featured the tracks Take Me to Church, Jackie and Wilson and Someone New.
