The School of English, Trinity College Dublin, hosts a reading by award-winning author and Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing, Richard Ford, to celebrate the forthcoming publication of Let Me Be Frank With You, to be published in November 2014. The reading will take place on Wednesday the 8th of October at 7 pm in the Edmund Burke Theatre, the Arts Building, College. Cathy Kelly will be signing copies of her new book, It Started with Paris, in Dubray Books, Main Street, Bray this Saturday, October 4th, at 1pm.

Award-winning author Colin Barrett will read from his book Young Skins On Wednesday, October 15th, at 7.30pm at the Rathgar Bookshop, 100 Rathgar Road. Dublin 6.

Gothic ghouls, marauding vampires and dancing zombies are just some of the creatures that will prowl the streets of Dublin at this year's Bram Stoker Festival (October 24th- 27th). A highlight of this festival will be The Shapeshifters Ball on October 25th, brought to you by Body&Soul. A very limited number of guests will enjoy a spectrum of live, theatrical and chilling performances by a carefully selected line up in the unique setting of the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin. Guests will be encouraged to arrive in costume, and those that don't, will be able to rent something suitably ostentatious from the on-site wardrobes.
