Lucidity Digital is to be rebranded Isobar following its acquisition by Isobar parent company Dentsu Aegis Network.
The team at Dublin-based Lucidity will join Isobar’s 3,000 staff in 67 offices across 41 markets worldwide. The firm said it expects to double staff in Ireland to 60 over the next two years.
Lucidity managing director Jim Cassidy said the ability to access the creative and technology skill sets of 3,000 digital professionals in 41 countries means the company will always be on the cutting edge of digital.
With clients including Adidas, Coca-Cola, Sony, Kellogg's, Avis and Google, Dentsu Aegis is expanding Isobar's reach, so that it can implement the same digital campaigns in a number of countries at the same time.
In the last two years it has bought two agencies in China and one each in the US, Turkey and Australia.
“Through the launch of Isobar Dublin we’re bringing our ‘borderless thinking’ to Irish clients, and to international clients that operate here,” said Robert Horler, chief executive of Dentsu Aegis Network in Northern Europe.
Dentsu Aegis Ireland chief executive Liam McDonnell said the Irish economy is now expanding again, helped by the strong technology sector here, and given the number of major international companies headquartered in Dublin, it was vital for Isobar to have a local presence. Last year Isobar won more than 170 awards, including 18 Agency of the Year titles.
