"Not only are we investing in the people we hire but the city, and we are also proud to be able to bring the culture of Ireland to our global team."

The new facility will be based at Limerick’s National Technology Park, and will facilitate hybrid work arrangements.

The news was welcomed by Tánaiste Leo Varadkar. "The midwest has a strong talent pool which will allow Legato's new hub to thrive. Firms like Legato are vital to the future of global healthcare."

The investment is being supported by IDA Ireland. The chief executive of the agency, Martin Shanahan, said client companies based in the midwest benefit from the region's highly skilled and talented workforce.
