Food retailer Iceland opened its 10th store in Ireland on Tuesday, expanding onto Dublin’s Talbot Street.

The move, which will create 40 jobs, will see the British frozen food retailer return to Dublin’s city centre, and is part of the group’s expansion plans in Ireland,

Ron Metcalfe, managing director of Iceland Ireland said; " This is the 10th Iceland store in Ireland now and we're excited to be contributing to the jobs landscape in the country. We will continue with our expansion programme in 2016."

Iceland’s other Irish stores are located in Dublin (Ballyfermot, Coolock, Finglas, Navan Road, Talbot Street), Carlow, Longford, Midleton, Kerry and Waterford.
