One More Thing:More than a few eyebrows were raised in Dublin a couple of years back when NCB Stockbrokers opened an office in London.

The company involved was a mobile and IT solutions business called Versatile with a market capitalisation of £40 million.

Other listings are planned for later in the year.

NCB now has 20 people in London involved in institutional research and sales and corporate finance, and it is the UK member of the European Securities Network.

ESN gained top ranking among European brokers for its stock recommendations within the FTSE Eurotop 100 in 2006, finishing ahead of the traditional heavyweights in the area such as Deutsche Bank Securities and UBS.
