Three companies have been selected for the final of the PwC Docklands Innovation Enterprise Awards, run by DIT Hothouse and the Bolton Trust, supported by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The three companies will compete for a prize of €10,000 in expansion funding on March 8th, when they will pitch their investment proposals and face a panel of judges.

The companies chosen include Cambrist, founded by Jacob Clafrin, which operates a cloud-based system to help banks manage foreign currency exchange on card payments.

Also among the finalists is Eco-nomic Innovations, founded by Jonathan and Helen Eves, which owns technology that it says aids mineral recovery in the mining process.
