We're finally staring down the barrel of Budget 2020. It may well be all out there but when Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe gets to his feet at 1pm on Tuesday we will be there, bringing you all the news, comment, analysis and videos on the events of the day. Our live blog will be running from the morning until the budget day is done. We'll also keep you up to date across all our social media platforms.

Here is how our Budget 2020 coverage will happen:

Tuesday morning: Join The Irish Times budget team and our in-house experts for the budget live blog, which will bring you the build-up to the Minister’s speech, keep you in touch the news as it breaks, the details of new measures, initial reaction, and the best of social media comment.

During the live blog, our politics team will also provide instant analysis of the measures as they are announced.

1pm: Paschal Donohoe takes to his feet in the Dáil for his speech. As well as the live blog, we will bring you a rolling summary of the main points and highlights as they emerge. We will be live streaming the speech on our site as well.

After the speech:

Plus, we will have quick analysis from our political, business and news teams, including columnists Cliff Taylor, Miriam Lord and Chris Johns, and all the details of what the changes will mean for you. Podcasts: Business editor Ciarán Hancock will host a special edition of the Inside Business podcast, which will be available for download after 6pm. He will be joined in studio by Cliff Taylor and Fiona Reddan of The Irish Times and by Liam Diamond from PwC to discuss what Budget 2020 means for consumers, the economy and businesses.

Hugh Linehan and our politics team will discuss how Mr Donohoe performed, in a special Inside Politics podcast on Tuesday evening.

Ask the Experts Q&A: Our online Q&A will be open from 1pm for your questions. Dominic Coyle and Fiona Reddan from The Irish Times and Beryl Power from PwC will answer the questions online from 7am on Wednesday morning.
