Pandora to open on Henry St

Pandora, the global jewellery chain, is to open a new outlet on Dublin’s Henry Street.

The shop has leased 70sq m (765sq ft) on the ground floor in the GPO Buildings immediately next door to another jewellers Swarovski and opposite Lush Cosmetics and Butlers Chocolates.

Pandora has over 1,100 outlets worldwide and the Henry Street store with a rent of around €175,000 per annum will be its 14th in Ireland. Its other venues include Grafton Street, the Blanchardstown Centre, Dundrum Town Centre and Dublin Airport.

Founded in Copenhagen in 1982, the retailer now trades in over 80 countries and had global revenue in excess of €1.3 billion in 2013.

Henry Street continues to attract top retail names with Parfois, the Portuguese handbags and accessories brand, trading in a new store since the run up to Christmas and Mango, the Spanish fashion trader, currently fitting out the former A|wear premises.

BNP Paribas has just brought on to the market the former Barratt Shoes unit at 1 GPO Buildings which has a retail area of 60sq m (645sq ft) and additional space at basement and mezzanine levels. A rent of €175,000 is being sought for the premises.
