A new shop to be operated by Liverpool Football Club at Dublin's Ilac centre opens for business today with a full range of clothing, accessories and souvenirs for supporters.
The club has taken a 10-year lease of the high-profile unit, with a break option in year five. After a six-month rent-free period, it will pay €100,000 a year, rising to €110,000 for the shop, which has a ground-floor area of 147 sq m (1,582 sq ft) and a further 63 sq m (638 sq ft) at mezzanine level.
The opening comes shortly after the discount clothing retailer TK Maxx also began trading at the Ilac Centre, where the footfall has increased sharply.
CBRE and Bannon are joint letting agents for the centre.
